Ollie Dennis vs Patrick Doolan in the exhilarating final round.

After a nail-biting match on Saturday at the Adelaide Hills Fencing Club, the Aldgate Attackers narrowly beat the St Mick's Marauders.
Taking an early three round lead, the Attackers were kept in check by match champion Elliot Holman (9 points). The next three bouts were held by the Marauders. The final third was taken closely by the Attackers, with a thrilling final round to finish 42-45!

Well done to all competitors who made for such a spectacular series of competitions. Additional thanks to coaches Erwin & Dov, league referee Ranger, and to all the AHFC staff who helped to make this inaugural year happen.
Finally, thanks to all the parents, friends, family, and teachers who attended each match with your roaring support.

See you in the School's Guard next year!

In a thrilling Semi-Final match, the St Mick's Marauders defeated the Aldgate Strikers 45 to 25.
A valiant effort was made by Eddie S. in the mid-competition 'Battle of the Eddies' against Eddie E. (pictured) but was unfortunately not quite enough to swing the match back to the Strikers' favour.
The Marauders will advance to the final round.

Round 3 of the league (Ald-A vs STMCS) was a nail-biting match, with the lead changing several times and the rising scores never far apart.
The Aldgate Attackers only just won with a final score of 45-42, which gives them top ranking going into the elimination rounds next week.

    Hurrah! Welcome to the future!

While we remain disappointed at the volume of flying cars on the market, thankfully we survived a social apocalypse and coffee supplies are still abundant.

The AHFC welcomes all returning and new club members to the year of fencing in 2021.
    Let's get stabby.
